August Day Two – Wednesday

While truly magical, day two’s more than sixty miles included numerous significant hills which, more often than not, resulted in Sloth trudging up steep inclines in first gear. However, these hills sometimes included breathtaking views of Lake Michigan… and, of course, the thrill of speeding downhill! Sloth particularly enjoyed an early morning experience on the Sleeping Bear dune climb as well as a lunch in scenic Frankfort. Needless to say, a delicious pasta dinner at Orchard Beach State Park was much needed and well deserved!
