2014 GRPS Turkey Trot
Now twenty-two years in the running, the GRPS Turkey Trot 5K is a collaboration between the Grand Rapids Public Schools and the City of Grand Rapids. Proceeds from the event benefit the GRPS Athletics Program. The Turkey Trot is a tradition for many in the Grand Rapids area, and it’s a great way to “pre-burn” the Thanksgiving calories. Team N3kk1d captain Sloth has run the 5K for several years now and has watched the event grow each year: 2013 boasted more than 2,000 participants from over 25 states!

Let’s wake up, people!
On your marks… get set…

There’s some smiles!
Chugging up toward Bridge Street…
Through Ab-Nab-Awen Park…
We made it! High five!
A true “arena-sized” finish
