2011 GRPS Turkey Trot
The GRPS Turkey Trot is nineteen years in the running. The event occurs early on Thanksgiving Day morning with the tagline “Use your feet before you eat!”. The walk/run serves as a fundraiser for the Grand Rapids Public Schools athletics program and is a Thanksgiving tradition for many in the Grand Rapids area, regardless of where their kids attend school.
In true Team N3kk1d fashion, team captain Sloth biked out to the event and, after discovering a lack of a bag check, wound up running the entire route with his backpack full of cycling equipment. What a champ!
